RE Teachers Wanted!

We could use a few more teachers for Family Formation and grades 7-10 Religious Ed classes! Contact Karolyn if you're interested in teaching, co-teaching, helping stuff packets for Family Formation, or helping out in any way!

This training is done annually as required by the diocese.  If you are paid by the parish or are a volunteer in any way, shape, or form, you MUST do this training before you can volunteer!  We want to make sure that everyone is protected!

If you are looking for a Bible, we have some for sale in the RE office.  The Catholic Youth Bible is very youth friendly and the RE program for grades 7-10 refers to this specific Bible a lot.  Contact the RE office if you would like one.

Family Formation

Grades PreK-6

First Wednesday of each month 6:30-7:30 pm

or

First Sunday morning of each month 9:15-10:15 am

*Preschool Little Lambs is available on the Sunday morning session ONLY

Sacramental Preparation: 

We are following the Family Formation preparation format for First Eucharist.

Grades 7-12

            Wednesday evenings of each month, except first Wednesday

7:00-8:15 pm

Grades 7-10: 

We are using a format called

The Total Faith Initiative.

Grades 11-12: 

We are using a format called

The Theology of the Body for Teens.

*Note even if you have been confirmed, we would like you to turn in a registration form and continue your faith education.  This program consists of the teachings on the body by Pope John Paul II.  It is a very engaging and informative program on the body and chastity.  As a teenager, this is a way for you to comfortably talk about these topics with peers through DVDs, music, and activities.  If you want to know more about the program, contact Amber to chat about it.  We hope you will join us!

Confirmation Class

Specific Sundays throughout the school year:

10th grade (Class of 2012) - 2:30-4:00 pm

9th grade (Class of 2013) - 4:30-6:00 pm

We come together to build community and prepare for the Rite of Confirmation

using a format called Confirmed in a Faithful Community.

*NOTE: Confirmation candidates will attend RE class on Wednesdays as well as the Confirmation sessions!
